Course Outline:
Our 1 Day ERT Team leader Training Course is designed to equip ERT Team leaders, Chief Wardens and other high level management with the skills to manage an emergency.
ERT Team leaders need to make decisions quickly during potentially dangerous emergency events. This training course will provide personnel with the theory and practical exercises required to respond to any on-site emergency.
All instructors on this course are former full-time emergency services personnel with Incident Command experience.
Course Subjects:
- RECEO Implementation
- Causes/Signs of structural collapse
- Briefing and De-briefing the ERT
- Implementing an action plan
- Desktop Emergency exercises.
- Size-Up of emergencies
- Briefing external emergency services.
Team leaders require this course to develop incident management skills prior to all other training. This Course has a very large practical component. 50% Practical and 50% Theory. Practical scenarios will be devised from the above course modules and will be tailored to the requirements of the work site.
