You have taken our policies and procedures and ensured that they are incorporated into the training and staff are trained to use our equipment. Other providers have run their training on their premises using equipment we don't use, so the transfer to the work environment is not always obvious.
You also are prepared to travel to any location and run courses out of hours if required by the business. This is done without it costing any more than any other training provider.

When TENIX decided to implement Confined Space Training to all of its operators here in Wagga Wagga, the available options were few. Fire and Safety Australia were contacted and I was impressed with there ability to tailor a training package that more than adequately addressed our requirements. As a team, we had received First Aid Training prior to Fire and Safety Australia arriving on site and this training was recognised and taken into consideration when customising a package that fitted in with our needs.

As working in a large organisation, I have been to numerous training and refresher courses generally finding them boring or non value add, In the case of Fire & Safety Australia’s Confined space course this was the complete opposite. All members of the group interacted and were able to use Steve’s extensive real world knowledge to extract learning’s that could be taken back to each of our specific work places.

A few comments:
- FSA provided confined space training of a very high standard. The trainer was passionate about the topic and this was very obvious throughout the training sessions.
- Steve McLeod, the FSA trainer, was able to maintain positive engagement with the majority of the attendees for the majority of the time. Steve provided numerous real life examples gained from his own personal experiences which I believe enhanced the learning of all involved.
- The course notes provided to all attendees was comprehensive and provides the attendees with the material to further their understanding of the course content if desired.
- The feedback that I have received from employees who attended the course has all been positive and the comment that 'the level of training is a huge improvement on the last confined space training course' has been made to me on more than one occasion.

After being involved in numerous training programs over the years, when I was in a position to organise specialised training for my workplace, I knew exactly what I wanted and needed from a training provider. I found Fire and Safety Australia (FSA) on an internet search and from the very start, Steve McLeod (MD) was helpful, efficient and provided a no nonsense approach to our training requirements.
Since changing jobs I have continued to use FSA and I have been extremely impressed with their ability to accommodate our needs along with the quality of their educational material and presentations. All training sessions have been informative, interactive and have a very 'real' approach to them and the trainers are fun to work with. They combine theory, AV material and practical in the right amounts... and don't just put you in front of a video for hours on end! They also make sure that you fully understand the theory and practical before moving on, they don't 'skim over' topics and hit you with the test and the end of the process.
FSA provide a professional, friendly and efficient service that more than covers the requirements for OHS compliance and I have no hesitation in recommending them for any of the training and educational services they provide.

Good morning Steve,
I would just like to say a big thank you for your help in organizing Fire Warden & Fire Extinguisher training for the staff here at Gebel Aquasafe. Our trainer for the day, Mark was fantastic and really helped to open our eyes and see how dangerous the workplace can be, especially when dealing with chemicals.
The day was a boost for the staff and I feel that they took some very valuable information away from the training, and a genuine appreciation of the work that goes into keeping the workplace safe. For this I am truly grateful.
For a laborer, after a certain amount of time you fall into bad habits and can become a little complacent about safety, I think we now have a renewed sense of workplace safety.
