We regularly recruit 3 main roles in our company across all Australian States and Territories; Fire, Safety & Rescue Trainers, Business Development Managers and Administration Personnel.
FSA has a national team of 90+ and we employ the following roles:
- Management Team (CEO, CFO, General Manager Emergency Response, National Sales Manager, RTO/Quality/HSE Manager, Training Manager)
- Emergency Services Supervisors
- Emergency Services Officers
- Emergency Response and Safety Trainers & Assessors
- Finance Team members (Payroll, A/P, A/R, HR)
- Customer Service Team Members
For each role that we hire, we decide on the appropriate skills and experience required and we convene an interview and selection panel which normally comprises 3 FSA team members to assess an individual’s skills, knowledge, experience and whether or not they will live FSA’s four core values.
FSA offers professional development and training opportunities to all of our team members nationwide through both internal and external training programs offered based on performance.
What do we look for?
Fire, Safety & Rescue Trainers
Nationwide we are always looking for casual, part-time and full-time trainers. You must have industry experience and preferably at least 3+ years of emergency services or safety experience. We want experts who can ‘walk their talk’ and deliver passionate, interesting and enthusiastic training to our clients.
Our trainers are the backbone of our organisation and we want trainers who will deliver our training and ‘be memorable’ to our clients. You must be willing to travel and meet the demands of our clients. You will work in exciting places and deliver challenging courses!
Experience in delivering training in all of our courses (Fire, Evacuation, Confined Space, SCBA, Heights, Vertical Rescue, Confined Space Rescue & First Aid) is beneficial but not essential. But a friendly attitude and a great training demeanour are essential. You must hold a Cert IV Training and Assessment.
Business Development Managers
Are you a natural Business Development Manager who can approach clients Australia wide? Can you sell training that is required under law and demonstrate our ability to provide great services? If you can, we want you!
A BDM with Fire & Safety Australia is involved with sourcing business for us including but not limited to: Training, Consulting, Emergency Response Team Supply & Equipment Supply. You ideally have experience selling emergency response and safety training or equipment and you are a quick learner.
